Former child actor nabbed for allegedly killing own friend in Pasig

Former child actor John Wayne Sace was arrested for his alleged involvement in the killing of his own friend in Pasig City on Monday, October 28, the Eastern Police District (EPD) announced on Tuesday, October 29.

According to authorities, the male victim, 43, was found lifeless with four gunshot wounds after family members heard gunshots near their house in Barangay Sagad at around 7:30 p.m. on Monday.

The incident was immediately reported to the police, prompting the authorities to conduct an operation that led to Sace's arrest at a hotel in the city.

According to them, the suspect and the victim had a long standing feud, which may have led to the killing.

Sace was brought to the EPD for a paraffin test and will be returned to the Pasig Police Headquarters afterward.

Prior to his arrest, Sace was able to post on his Facebook account, saying, “Nagtutulak kayo ng droga ng palihim diba? Yun mga buhay na sinira nyo? May kalaban laban ba? Yung mga ninakawan nyo? Meron? Wag kayo pavictim. Ilang beses nyo na ko pinagplanuhan katulad kagabi??? Ha Diba? Pag umalis ako papatayin nyo pamilya ko (You’re secretly peddle drugs, aren’t you? What about the lives you’ve ruined? Did they have any chance? The people you robbed? Stop playing the victim. How many times have you plotted against me, like last night? Huh? If I leave, you’ll kill my family, right?)”

The police stated that they will determine the real motive behind the killing.

In 2016, Sace was wounded while his companion was killed when unidentified men onboard a motorcycle fired upon them in Pasig City.

Sace was reportedly linked to illegal drug use.
