MANILA, Philippines -- Another musical invasion by a top foreign act is in the offing with the forthcoming visit of All Time Low, one of the hottest pop punk bands to emerge in the international music scene in recent years, to perform on Sept. 22 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao.

Dubbed as “All Time Low Live In Manila,” the debut performance in Manila of America’s fastest-rising pop punk group is part of its ongoing world tour in support of its newly released fourth album, “Dirty Work.”

The album is the latest in All Time Low’s rich harvest of achievements that include chart-topping albums and singles and successful international tours.

Other albums released by the band were “The Party Scene,” “So Wrong, It’s Right” and “Nothing Personal,” while its singles included “Circles,” “The Girl’s A Straight-Up Hustler,” “Coffee Shop Soundtrack.”

All Time Low was formed in 2003 by lead vocalist Alex Gaskarth, guitarist Jack Barakat, drummer Rian Dawson and bassist Zach Merrick while they were still in high school in Baltimore, Maryland.

Its name was inspired by line in the lyrics of the song, “Head On Collision,” by the band New Found Glory.

“All Time Low Live In Manila!” is produced by Ovation Productions in association with ETC, 2nd Avenue, Diva Universal, Talk TV, The Rockwell Club. RJ 100.3 FM and Top40 T-Shirts. It is also supported by The Philippine Star, BusinessWorld, Monster Radio RX 93.1, 97.9 Home Radio, Mellow 94.7, Crossover 105.1, MYX, OptimaSignsolutions and ABS CBN.

Rachelle Ann reveals silent fear

“I’m so overwhelmed by so many emotions,” Rachelle Ann Go said. “Sometimes there was fear and so much loneliness. And those emotions inspired me to write the song ‘Whispered Fear.’”

Actually, she wrote the song three years ago. It is now featured in her latest album “Unbreakable.”

“Unbreakable” describes Rachelle as she is now, stronger to meet any challenges to her singing career. She is now emotionally stable. “I am 25 years old,” she said.

The other songs featured in her album are “Masasabi Mo Ba,” “You Kissed Away My Tears,” “Close To You,” etc.

The three other members of Viva Records’ Awesome Foursome are Mark Bautista, Jay Perillo, and 14-year-old Yssa.

Mark Bautista’s 5th album, “Nagmamahal,” features two songs which he wrote, “Bakit” and “OK Lang.” “Bakit” is about holding on to someone who has already fallen out of love, and the second song is about a guy’s fondness for a girl without knowing that she is already involved with someone else.

Jay Perillo’s self-titled album features his own composition, “Nakatanim.” The other 11 tracks in the album are remakes of recent hits including Gloria Estefan’s “Anything For You” and Lisa Loeb’s “Stay.”

Fourteen-year-old Yssa is one of Viva’s newest recording artists. Her debut album, “Addicted to Acoustic 3,” features remakes of recent pop hits, including Lady Gaga’s “Alejandro,” Rihanna’s “Hate That I Love You,” Taio Cruz’s “Break Your Heart.”

Yssa comes from the Muhlach showbiz clan and is the daughter of actress Almira Muhlach and former cager Bong Alvarez.
