Parañaque LGU cited as Universal Health Care Integrated Site

The Parañaque City government was recognized by the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation - National Capital Region and Rizal as an Universal Health Care Integrated Site for its implementation of policies and programs in accordance with the Universal Health Care Act.

Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez, represented by the city's Public Information Office (PIO) officer Melquides Alipoon, received the plaque of recognition during the PhilHealth Plus awarding ceremony held at the Sheraton Manila Bay on Nov. 20.

Olivarez said the city was given the award for pioneering efforts in health system integration and collaboration, setting a standard for inclusive, efficient, and sustainable health care that benefits residents.
