Suspected Abu Sayyaf bandits' captive rescued

MANILA, Philippines — Elite Army Scout Rangers on Monday rescued a 34-year-old woman held captive by suspected Abu Sayyaf bandits for two weeks in Basilan province, a military spokesman said.
Three Abu Sayyaf men were also killed in the operation.
Lt. Col. Randolph Cabangbang, the Western Mindanao Command (Wesmincon) spokesman, said rescued was Luisa Galvez-Morrison, wife of a British national and owner of RL Salon & Spa, and resident of Nesoricom Subdivision, Barangay Magdaup, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay province.
