Five singers make up Jammistas
MANILA, Philippines -- The fun Friday nights series of shows billed as “Got Fridays @ Teatrino” in Promenade, Greenhills continues to showcase the latest generation of singers. Taking centerstage tonight is an exciting new group called “Jammistas.”
Jammistas is made up of musicians who have already proven themselves as solo artists – Noelle Cassandra, Yssa Alvarez, Sabrina, Davey Langit and Marvin Ong.
Noelle is said to be Asia’s only singer-songwriter who is also a harpist.
Yssa, the “young lady of acoustic pop,” brings her vibrant brand of acoustic flavored pop to the assembly. Sabrina has released a couple of albums in parts of Asia.
Davey Langit, a talented singer-songwriter and an exceptional guitarist, has proven his musical gifts in the ABS-CBN TV show “Pinoy Dream Academy.”
Last but not least is Marvin Ong, who is the “golden-voiced singer-songwriter” and pianist too. Marvin is hailed as the singer-songwriter to follow in the footsteps of Ogie Alcasid.
“Got Fridays@Teatrino” is directed and conceptualized by Freddie Santos.
