Woman, son crushed by wayward truck in Zamboanga City

ZAMBOANGA CITY – An old woman and her son were killed after they were rammed and crushed by a truck here on Sunday, March 17.

A MOTHER and her son were killed when a ten-wheel truck rammed their motorcycle from behind in Zamboanga City on March 17.  

Police identified the victims as Konmar Eijansantos, 22, and his mother, Enacia.

Investigation disclosed that the victims were leaving the shoulder of the road after fixing their motorcycle when they were rammed from behind by a wayward truck.

The victims were pinned under the truck and died on the spot.

The truck, driven by Raymundo Ledito, came from Davao City and was enroute to a shopping mall here to deliver goods.

Ledito is under police custody.
