Isabella, other young performers experiment

MANILA, Philippines -- Today, Oct. 7, Kuh Ledesma’s talented daughter Isabella will once more be in Teatrino, Promenade in Greenhills for its series of Friday night events “Got Fridays@Teatrino,” which features up and coming performers.

“Got Fridays” is directed by Freddie Santos and sponsored by the Music Museum Group. “What happens is a bunch of old and new friends of mine were asked to take on a Friday. We are free to experiment with songs, the music,” Isabella explains.

Isabella promises to take the audience to a musical adventure with Robin Nievera and newcomer Kevin Cisco. She says she has always wanted to collaborate with friends and this show is a perfect opportunity for her to do just that.

Kevin who’s very new in show business is also an act to watch out for.

“I’m sure they’re expecting a young Kuh Ledesma and God willing I will try not to disappoint them. But I’m also gonna give them young Barbra (Streisand), David Guetta, Selena Gomez, and (Justin) Bieber,” says Isabella.

“Got Fridays” is presented by Music Museum Group, Advanced Aesthetics by Dr. Venia Javellana, Mossino Music and Hacienda Isabella.

Korean talents in bazaar/concert

The Korean Women’s Association in the Philippines headed by Ms. Kim Kee In (Kathy Park), owner of Kaya Restaurant, conducted recently a bazaar/concert at Manila Film Center. The association is committed to help Korean-Filipino children in the country.

The activity was held in cooperation with Jung Yung Bae of M-Entertainment who flew in top Korean artists like actor Kim Dong Hyeon (“Temptation of Wife”), Hae Eun Lee, Kim Jung Your, Shim Shin, and the electric violinist Eun Joo Park (EJ Park).

The organizers thank Midas Hotel for the accommodations accorded the Korean artists. EJ thanks Drezzee for her clothes, Ms. Heart for her hair and make-up and GEO Medical Contact Lens Innovation for their sponsorship.

Triskelion Alumni mark 43rd anniversary

The Tau Gamma Grand Fraternity marked its 43rd anniversary Oct. 3-4 with various activities like livelihood projects and a Triskelion Alumni Night held at the ballroom of Hotel Rembrandt. The alumni organization is made up of Tau Gamma Grand Fraternity members many of them now residents abroad who studied in different schools and universities in Manila, including Rep. Owen Singson, scion of the owners of Hotel Rembrandt.

Among the more prominent members of the group are Basilan Lone District Rep. Jim Hataman-Salliman, Catanduanes Vice Gov. Jose “Bong” Teves, and Engr. Edwin C. Lagadi of Las Vega, USA where he is one of the top distributors of Salad Master. Edwin is also the executive producer of the forthcoming movie “Pinoy Super Kid: Boy Scout Hero.”
