Derby champs in Pasay event

Rep. Patrick Antonio hopes to sustain his title streak as he leads the favored entries in today’s "J and B Kaingin Big Event 6-Cock Derby" at the Pasay City Cockpit. The Sagupaan Complex 3000 entry of Rep. Antonio posted 8.5 points to win last month’s World Slasher Cup 1 (solo champion). He’s likely to dominate the PCC event after chalking up three straight wins recently. Also invited by derby host Jojo Cruz are fellow members from the Ultimate Fighting Cock Championships (UFCC), including Anthony Marasigan of Batangas, solo champ of the 2018 World Pitmasters Cup, Joey delos Santos, Arman Santos, Charlie Ang, Gerry Ramos, Mayor Nene Aguilar, Eddie Gonzales, Dori Du of Davao, ESM Jobo and Anthony Lim. With more than 100 fights on tap, competition starts early, according to PCC pit manager Gerald Go. Meanwhile, the 4-cock finals of the Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA) 7-cock derby comes next at PCC on March 9.
