Police seize P2.2-million shabu from driver

By Danny Estacio  CANDELARIA, Quezon- Some P2.2-million worth of shabu was confiscated from a driver in a buy-bust operation, Thursday evening, in Purok 2 Barangay Malabanban Norte, this town. The police report identified the suspect as Wendell Pranada Dolor, 43, and resident of Barangay Gulang Gulang, Lucena City. He was included in the street level individual (SLI) drug watch. According to the report, at 8:30 p.m. combined personnel of the Candelaria police, the Quezon Provincial Police Intelligence Branch and Drug Enforcement Unit, and the Quezon Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) initiated drug buy-bust operation. The suspect was caught in the act of selling two zip-lock plastic sachets containing shabu. The authorities also went on to confiscate from him a total of 111.16 grams of shabu with street value amounting to P2,267,664. The criminal complaint for violation of sections 5 11 of Article II of R.A. 9165 against the suspect is being prepared for filing before Provincial Prosecutor’s Office in Lucena City.
