DOLE employee ambushed in Malate, Manila

An employee of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) was shot dead in Malate Manila Monday.

A report from DZMM Teleradyo identified the fatality as Ellen Dacanay. She was declared dead on arrival at an undisclosed hospital after succumbing to bullet wounds.

Dacanay was reportedly driving her car at around 6 p.m. along Malvar street when a two suspects on board a motorcycle open fired.
