'Oh My Job' to tackle DOLE voluntary code of practice for fishing and allied services

This Saturday, "Oh My Job" (OMJ) will focus the spotlight on Director Raymundo G. Agravante, Regional Director Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Region 12 SOCCSKSARGEN.

What is the Voluntary Code of Good Practice for Fishing and Allied Industry? How many fisherfolks will benefit from it, and what are these allied industries in Region 12 SOCCSKSARGEN? These are some of the questions that will be answered during the program.

"OMJ" will also discuss child labor and DOLE’s campaign to fight against it in Ajuy, Iloilo. The local government received a total of P580,062.00 worth of financial assistance for 27 profiles and parents of child laborers as additional livelihood funds for fishing and farming activities. This municipality in Iloilo does not have any alternative source of livelihood.
