Surprises, revelations in 'PBB Unlimited'
MANILA, Philippines — There will be “unlimited” revelations in the newest and fourth edition of “Pinoy Big Brother” which starts airing Saturday night (Oct. 29) on ABS-CBN.
In “PBB Unlimited: The Big Fiesta,” hosts Toni Gonzaga and Bianca Gonzalez who will be joined by newbies Robi Domingo and Martin Concio, will finally reveal the new set of housemates.
“This is definitely going to be better than the last,” an excited Toni said. “Compared to past seasons, I think this is the grandest season of PBB.”
As for the additional hosts, the program is both a challenge and a dream-come-true. Robi, an alumnus and the second placer of “PBB Teen Edition Plus” in 2008, said, “It feels really great. Being one of the housemates before, I could really relate to their experiences and tell it to the viewers.”
Meanwhile, Bianca felt mixed emotions and is looking forward to work with the same people she has worked with since “PBB Teen Edition.” She said, “It’s great to be part of PBB because, I, Toni, and even the whole production staff grew up with the show.”
Catch “PBB Unlimited Update” weeknights during “Maria La Del Barrio” and “100 Days to Heaven” and don’t miss the actual kick-off show “PBB Unlimited: The Big Fiesta” Saturday night on ABS-CBN.

Blessed John Paul hymns launched
Liturgical music geniuses Maestro Ryan Cayabyab and Jesuit priest Fr. Manoling Francisco have collaborated to create a hymn especially for Blessed John Paul II’s call to holiness that he imparted to the Filipino people in two pastoral visits. Entitled “Call Us To You,” the composition was requested by the Araneta Center as a highlight of the liturgical concert “Blessed: A Call To Holliness” which will be staged Saturday, Oct. 29 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Cayabyab expressed that he felt privileged to work with Fr. Manoling. “The words should be like a prayer,” Ryan said, “I have long wanted to work with Fr. Manoling. Magiging panalangin ang titik na ilalapat niya. The melody will come.”
Fr. Manoling decided against writing about the virtues of the late pontiff or his accomplishments, “If the song is about John Paul II, the usage will be limited to occasions centered on him. Instead, I wrote a hymn that is a song to our Lord, the lyrics inspired by the words of JPII on holiness, faith, and the Christian vocation culled from his various speeches and writings,” Fr. Manoling explains.
“Call Us To You” will be launched during the musical concert to honor Blessed John Paul II Saturday from 1-6 p.m. at the Araneta Coliseum.
