COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (AP) — Police say a man's girlfriend unexpectedly came home just before another woman was due to visit, so he called police to report his new acquaintance as a burglar.

The Gazette reported that 24-year-old Kevin Gaylor was cited with a misdemeanor of false reporting to authorities.

Police say Gaylor had invited a woman he met online to come to his home after 3 a.m. on Wednesday last week so they could get better acquainted, but his girlfriend came home first.

Police say that when the other woman arrived, Gaylor called police and falsely reported an intrusion.

Vibrator in bag spells trouble

NEW YORK (AFP) — A United States airport security agent who found a vibrator in the baggage of a transatlantic traveler, and then advised her in writing what to do with it, is facing disciplinary action.

The US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) said a handwritten note that lawyer and blogger Jill Filipovic found in her checked luggage was "highly inappropriate and unprofessional."

Filipovic tweeted a picture of the note, which read: "Get your freak on girl." Under the image, she added: "Just unpacked my suitcase and found this note from TSA. Guess they discovered a 'personal item' in my bag. Wow."

"TSA quickly launched an investigation and identified the employee responsible," the federal agency said on its blog.

"That individual was immediately removed from screening operations and appropriate disciplinary action has been initiated."

Filipovic lives in New York. Her Twitter account indicated that she had flown to Dublin to talk about feminism, sexual assault and abortion at Trinity College.

Family sues hotel over peeping

ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico (AP) — A New Mexico family is suing an Albuquerque hotel, claiming they caught a worker peeping into their room while they showered.

Evangeline and Eric Vigil of Alcalde filed the lawsuit last week, saying they found a hole in the wall by the shower faucet and saw someone's eye looking at them after hearing noises while showering at a Ramada Inn in April last year.

The suit says Evangeline Vigil checked into the hotel with her 17-year-old son and minor daughter and was told she was getting a "special rate." The Vigils say hotel staff weren't aware her husband would be coming later.
