Singer-songwriter Timmy Albert joins forces with Converse All Stars to release his latest single, "GET UP!" Available on all streaming platforms. This track embodies resilience, determination, and the unwavering pursuit of dreams.

This latest offering is the product of Timmy’s collaboration with All Star Projects; an initiative that provides emerging creatives with funding and mentorship to help accelerate their careers. Since 2021, Converse is proud to have supported more than 85 All Star Projects around the globe with over $1,000,000 in funding. The young singer was lucky to be chosen as its 2024 awardee.

Reflecting on the inspiration behind "GET UP!", Timmy Albert shares, "Being in the music industry is a free fall. Growing up, you often feel like you're enjoying the flight, but then gravity hits you hard with reality – having to land, stay grounded again, and force yourself to get up." This sentiment is echoed throughout the song's lyrics, where Albert candidly explores the dichotomy of chasing dreams while navigating the challenges of adulthood. He even opened the song with lines, I don’t mind going broke / No matter where the music takes me /That’s where I’ll go

Indeed, the song captures the essence of perseverance, encapsulating the struggle of balancing ambition with the harsh realities of life, especially when you are an artist living here in the country.

Timmy Albert further reflects on his journey, stating, "Dealing with that process can be fight or flight, and I'll admit it took me to my lowest point towards the end of last year." However, it was during this period of introspection that "GET UP!" was born – a testament to Albert's ability to transform personal struggles into meaningful art.

Brothers RJ and Ryan Pineda lent their talents to the song's production, contributing to its dynamic sound and emotive depth.
