MB Daily News Update: Taal Volcano has 2nd phreatomagmatic eruption

Malacanang is closely monitoring the condition of Taal Volcano, which has another phreatomagmatic eruption, even as it called for more vigilance from the public. MB has listed ways to protect the public from sulfur dioxide emission, and ashfall.

In what could trigger another diplomatic debacle, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) reported that one of its vessels was “shadowed” by a Chinese coast guard ship in Bajo de Masinloc off Zambales province.
