QC rescuers recover bodies of two teens in river

Rescuers recovered the bodies of two teenage boys who allegedly drowned in a river in Sitio Bakal, Barangay Bagong Silangan, Quezon City on Tuesday, Feb. 7.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said the rescuers responded to the area at around 12:32 p.m. after receiving a report that two minors, aged 13 and 15 years old, went missing while in the river. They started the operation at around 12:56 p.m. to locate the victims.

One of the teenagers was found at around 1:19 p.m. while the other was located at around 2:06 p.m.
