The road being rehabilitated and widened is the Camiling-Wawa-Bayambang-Malasiqui-Sta Barbara road, and this will provide faster and better access to schools and health care services for the people of Bayambang and nearby towns.
After its completion, the road will be able to accommodate the upsurge of vehicles to prevent build-up of vehicles passing causing heavy traffic around the area, especially during peak hours.
It will provide smooth flow of traffic and will decongest the volume of traffic which is now common problem in third district of Pangasinan.
The project will also help with the reduction of the emission of carbon dioxide contributing to pollution because it reduces travel time for vehicles passing along the road.
The project resumed May 16 after its suspension due to the enhance community quarantine. The project has a total cost of P20,645,833.50 and is expected to be completed before the year ends.
