IMUS CITY, Cavite---Dasmariñas city has reported three new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases bringing the total number to 87.
The local health office said Patient #85 is a male health worker of a government hospital in Metro Manila who resides at Villa Luisa, San Agustin III, Dasmarinas. Patient #86 is a government employee in another Cavite city who resides at Greenfields, Sampaloc II.
Patient #87 is a 43-year-old employee of a private company in Metro Manila, from Sunnydale Homes, Sabang.
The three patients are reportedly asymptomatic. Patient #85 was reportedly exposed in his workplace and admitted in the same hospital where he is employed. Patient #86 was reportedly exposed to a confirmed case in his workplace and was brought to an isolation facility in Dasmariñas.
Patient #87 reportedly tested positive during a company mass testing on June 12 and was brought to an isolation facility in Dasmariñas.
Dasmariñas is on second spot in terms of COVID-19 case numbers after Bacoor which has 150 cases as of June 18.
Mayor Jennifer Austria-Barzaga said aside from 87 confirmed positive cases, Dasmariñas has 10 COVID-19 deaths, 44 recoveries, 33 active and 127 suspect cases.
The Provincial Health Office case tracker report shows that Cavite has 445 cases, with 31 deaths and 172 recoveries, 155 probable, 6,859 suspect and 3,969 negative cases.
