CEU School of Medicine alumnus among the world top 2 percent scientists for 2022

Only 50 top-cited scientists from the Philippines have earned a place on this coveted list, with 32 of them come from the Philippine Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), one of which is Centro Escolar University

Centro Escolar University School of Medicine alumnus, Dr. Christopher Rocha has earned a prestigious spot as one of The World Top 2 percent Scientists for 2022 based on Scopus data which was recently published by Elsevier, a global information analytics company.

The selection process for this distinguished honor involves an in-depth analysis of the Scopus database. Only 50 top-cited scientists from the Philippines have earned a place on this coveted list, with 32 of them come from the Philippine Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), one of which is Centro Escolar University.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank CEU and my professors in the School of Medicine, for this research milestone and recognition,” said Dr. Rocha as he humbly shared this news.

CEU takes pride in nurturing individuals like Dr. Ian Christopher Rocha, who graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree in 2021, carrying the institution's legacy forward with their exemplary achievements.
