MANILA, Philippines — Co-leaders Freego Jeans and Cebuana Lhuillier battle separate rivals Thursday in the resumption of the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup at the Adamson University gym in Manila.

A well-rested Jeans Masters try to bounce back from last week’s stunning loss when they take on third-placer Big Chill at 4 p.m.

That defeat was their first in six games, thus enabling the Gems to tie them for the lead after beating Big Chill last Monday.

The Gems, on the other hand, battle winlessPC Gilmore in the curtain raiser at 2 p.m.

Freego saw its unbeaten run end at five games when it suffered a 78-62 loss to DUB Unlimited at the Trinity University gym in Quezon City. Not helping the squad of coach Leo Austria was the hectic week his boys endured.
