The order will be implemented in Muntinlupa public schools from kindergarten to senior high school and Child Development Centers.
Afternoon classes are also suspended),” said Biazon.
He said it is up to the Schools Division of Muntinlupa if blended learning will be implemented and the decision to suspend classes in private schools is at the discretion of their administration.
Biazon said based on the forecast of PAGASA, the heat index in Metro Manila may reach 41 degree Celsius (extreme caution) up to 42 degree Celsius (danger) on April 2.
The local forecast of the Muntinlupa City Department of Disaster Resilience and Management warned that temperature in the city may reach “extreme caution” level.
