The Pasig City local government began undergoing an overall review process for its offices and departments’ accomplishment reports for 2022 on Wednesday, Feb. 22.
Organized and led by the City Planning and Development Office (CPDO), the accomplishment reports of offices and departments were presented to the Local Finance Committee, led by Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto.
According to the Pasig Public Information Office (PIO), those under the infrastructure and environment clusters joined and showcased their groups' progress reports on the first day of the review.
Other offices will also showcase their reports during the week on their assigned schedules.
*(PASIG PIO / MANILA BULLETIN)*
Each office was evaluated based on the progress or completion of their respective programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) last year.
The PPAs are categorized as "Implemented," "Not Yet Implemented," "On-going / Partially Implemented," "Dropped," or "Augmented / Reverted."
Points of improvements were reviewed and considered for better implementation of the PPAs.
If the PPAs were dropped or delayed, the possible roadblocks or challenges to the programs were identified.
The heads and other representatives of each sector showcased their achievements such as awards earned, as well as the highlights of their full 2022 slate such as the conduct of annual buildings inspections by the infrastructure cluster, and the status of waste management and operations in the city from the environment cluster.
It also included an assessment of the budget that was used or unused for their intended purposes. The utilization of data was collated from the City Accounting Office.
The gathering also opened the floor to further clarifications, inquiries, and discussion on the possible integration and development of these programs and projects for 2023.
Overall, the CPDO analyzed the consolidated data submitted by the offices and departments for the Annual Accomplishment Report.
The accomplishment reports included information on the departments' common-use supplies, capacity development initiatives, and information and communication technology (ICT) hardware and software resources.
The report itself will be passed to the Commission on Audit (COA).
