Members of the Bulacan Provincial Police Office (PPO) arrested 19 drug suspects, seized P290,000 worth of illegal drugs, and put behind bars 13 wanted persons during intensified police operations conducted on Monday and Tuesday, April 1 and 2.
In reports submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Guiguinto conducted a sting operation that resulted in the arrest of alias Ferrie and alias Pate at around 4:50 a.m. on April 2, in Brgy. Tabang, Guiguinto.
Confiscated by the police from the suspects were three sachets of suspected shabu, weighing 30.15 grams, and with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of P205,000 along with the marked money.
Seventeen more drug dealers were apprehended in separate drug buy-bust operations conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEU) of Pulilan, San Jose Del Monte City, Hagonoy, Baliwag, Marilao, and San Miguel.
The operations yielded a total of 37 sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P91,772 and the marked money.
The arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination. Criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects have been prepared for filing in court.
Moreover, 13 individuals wanted for various crimes and offenses were apprehended by tracker teams from the 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), Guiguinto, City of San Jose Del Monte, Hagonoy, Calumpit, Meycauayan City, Obando, Marilao, and Bocaue. These individuals are presently under the custody of the arresting unit and stations.
