Rayver Cruz apologizes for being playful during livestream; Julie Anne San Jose defends boyfriend vs critics

Kapuso actor Rayver Cruz found himself at the center of a social media storm when netizens accused him of inappropriate behavior during a livestream on Saturday, March 16.

In a moment that caught many by surprise, Rayver was seen playfully interrupting his girlfriend, Julie Anne San Jose, as she was responding to a fan's question during the livestream.

A separate clip showed Rayver answering a fan's question for their upcoming concert in Canada, but some fans found his response odd.

 

 

"Yung paghahanda namin, nag-ano kami sa rehearsal room, naghawak hawak kami ng mga kamay, and then pumikit kami, and then niramdam lang namin yung bawa't isa. And then, yeah," Rayver said.

Julie Anne took to social media to defend her boyfriend against critics.

"Minsan lang po ako sumagot sa mga ganto but sobra ka na po. Below the belt and harsh na po itong accusations, please stop," Julie Anne wrote.

Rayver, realizing the impact of his actions, took to social media to issue a heartfelt apology to his fans for his playful behavior.

"Sa mga na offend sa kilos ko kanina sa live stream namin, sorry. But I was just being myself. Playful and happy talaga ako. Lalo na when I'm with my love. She knows that, she knows me.

"I don't usually speak up pero ibang usapan na ang accusations. Una, hinding hindi ko kayang saktan si Julie. My mom raised me right. Hinawakan ko yung buhok nya na lagi kong ginagawa sa mga iba pa namin videos pag magkasama kami pero kung iba po ang dating sa ibang tao wala na po ako magagawa don.

"I respect Julie sobra sobra and sobra ko syang mahal pati ang family nya. Pangalawa, may respeto ako sa trabaho ko at sa mga katrabaho ko. Hinding hindi ako gagawa ng makakasira dun.

"At sana, matuto na rin tayo rumespeto sa iba at maging malawak ang pag-iisip. Salamat po and goodnight!" Rayver said.
