Vandave Lopez Paragas gives back to Pangasinan town

Vandave Lopez Paragas

Former pageant king-turned-businessman Vandave Lopez Paragas never forgot where he came from and has used his influence and power to give back to his hometown.

Paragas is a young entrepreneur and one of the contenders in international competitions representing the Philippines. He competed in the global stage of Man Of The Year last November 2023 in Bali, Indonesia, and won Man of the Year-Asia.

He is a notable awardee of the Outstanding Youth of the Philippines in the Rotary Club of Aseana, where a few well-known artists like Derrick Monasterio and big-time businessmen, such as Frederick D. Go, are also recognized for bringing back to the community.

On March 8, 2024, Paragas produced a grand event dubbed “Victory for the People Variety." The concert was a collaborative effort with the Philippine Youth Organization, led by Hon. Gerald Ortiz, and the SK Federation President, Hon. Marianna Cheska Dulay, aiming to unite the community through the power of music and entertainment.

The performers for the concert included former PBB housemate, ABS CBN Star Magic artist, and Philippine Youth Ambassadress, Maxine Trinidad; there’s also Miss Universe Manila and Grand Winner of Miss Philippines Youth, Ysabel Macuja; Mister Philippines Youth grand winner Jimsen Austria; comedian and TV host Pepay Aguilar; as well as other renowned performers and artists from SARS Production.

The main advocacy of the grand concert is to give gratitude to his town, Bayambang, Pangasinan. It is led by former artists and one of the great mayors, Mayor Hon. Nina Jose Quiambao, and Vice Mayor Hon. Ian Camille Sabangan.

Almost a thousand youth members and Bayambang's counselors attended the event to support Paragas, who is recognized as the great pride of Bayambang.
