MANILA, Philippines — Anne Curtis is gushing with excitement over her Jan. 28, 2012 concert at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.

“Because I am not a singer,” she joyously said. “But here I am having a major concert!”

She added that any singer would dream to have a solo concert – yes, a big one with the Big Dome as its venue. “I never dreamed about it,” she stressed, “because really I am not a singer!”

This year, Anne has been blessed with several successful projects, the latest being the highest grossing dramatic Filipino movie of all time, “No Other Woman,” and then her debut album, “Annebisyosa,” which attained a platinum level after only two months from its release.

“I feel so humbled by all these blessings,” Anne said during a presscon announcing her forthcoming major concert. The Viva Artists Agency star also said: “This concert may be the biggest of them all because it’s a dream that I never thought would ever come true.”

Her forthcoming concert, “Annebisyosa: No Other Concert World Tour,” was conceptualized after her successful guest performance in the Martin Nievera-Side A concert held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum last November. Anne sang her hit singles “Alone” and “Mouth” and she received thunderous applause and cheers from the audience.

“As for my shortcomings as a singer, I will make up for them with my entire performances. I will give it my all!” Anne assured everyone.

Hollywood footwear re-launched

Today – returns to the scene worn by Anna Paquin, Dita von Teese, Chris Colfer, Emma Watson, Natalie Portman, Katy Perry and Kristen Stewart.

The “Keds: The Original Sneaker Exhibit” held at the Ronac Art Center along Ortigas Ave. (near Santolan) reintroduced the brand to the Philippines. Keds collaborated with young local designers and artists like CJ de Silva, Valerie Chua, Danika Navarro, Soleil Ignacio and Julius Sebastian.

Keds is available at Complex Lifestyle Store in Eastwood City, Ayala Center Cebu, Festival Mall and Alabang Town Centre, Hideout in Greenbelt 5, SM Supermalls, Rustan’s, Shoe Salon and the Keds x Sperry Top-Sider in Mega Atrium.
