Fans react to 'Katips' star Jerome Ponce watching 'Maid In Malacañang'

People aired mixed reactions learning about Jerome Ponce being among those who watched "Maid In Malacañang."

It was made public by Christine Laparan Policarpio, mother of vlogger-model Sachzna Laparan.

She uploaded a photo of her with her daughter and Jerome posing in front of a "Maid In Malacañang" poster.

"Iyak tawa! Sobrang ganda ng MiM wala akong masabi sa Darryl Yap namaga ang mata ko at grabe yung totoong MGA MAID SILA ANG TOTOONG BIDA! Bidang bida hahaha! And of course thank you Joseph Jerome Porciuncula  sa pag sama," her caption read.

Darryl Yap, writer-director of "Maid In Malacañang" appreciated Christine's effort.

"Salamat sa panonood Sachzna Laparan at Jerome Ponce, parehas artista sa pelikulang katips. #MAIDinMALACAÑANG DAY 3," Darryl wrote.

An online user commented: "Mababash ka nito madam Christine Laparan Policarpio bat mo pinanood sinama mo pa talaga c Jerome pero sa amin proud kami na napanood mo na! sana kami naman dito sa abroad next..!"

She answered: "ay manonood naman kami ng katips nag support sila sa pelikulang pilipino."

Note that Jerome and Sachzna are among stars of "Katips," the musical drama hyped as main competitor of "Maid In Malacañang."

It recently made headlines after snatching seven awards, including Best Picture, at the 70th FAMAS Awards.
