RedDot Philippines announces authorized Olympus service center for OLYMPUS PEN

MANILA, Philippines — RedDot Philippines, the authorized national distributor of OLYMPUS PEN cameras announces today that it is opening the first authorized service center for OLYMPUS PEN cameras in the Philippines.
This service center will also support other Olympus models such as compact cameras.
This will benefit all the loyal OLYMPUS PEN users in the country, who have stuck to the brand despite the proliferation of other digital cameras in the local market.
OLYMPUS PEN users have given testimonies of how good their digital cameras are, how efficient and useful they are in their work or just simply as hobbyists.
“We have invested a lot into this service center, we will have 8 highly trained technicians that have completed a full month of intensive training with Olympus senior technical team.
In addition, we have imported several specialized optical equipment such as Light Box, Calibration Machines from Japan.” said Dennie Dy, President of RedDot Philippines.
According to Yasuhiro Aoki, Senior Supervisor of CRM Department Japan, the technical process will include assessment of the unit, install latest firmware, make adjustments if needed, finally for quality control Resolution Charts are used to ensure the accuracy of the adjustments. Mr. Aoki has been stationed in the Philippines to spearhead hands-on training.
Andrew Chong, the Senior Vice President of Sales of RedDot Philippines, said that this new development will give their customers full satisfaction. “Having a service center in Manila is very important for our dealer network nationwide and their customers as they no longer have to send the units back overseas for service and support. The closest service center is in Hong Kong.”
