CARMEN, Bohol — In her belief that every household has an entrepreneur, Carmen town Mayor Conchita delos Reyes is assuring household entrepreneurs in the town full backing from her administration, particularly where it concerns ensuring food supply stability to lessen malnutrition and the strengthening of Carmen’s eco-agriculture tourism programs.

First-termer Delos Reyes, who is also a business woman by profession, has launched Carmen Household Entrepreneurs (CHE) a flagship program of her administration which features a demonstration farm where high value crops will be produced and one which promotes in-land fishing.

Said demo farm has already produced a number of plant varieties and will be replicated in the town’s 29 barangays.

"My administration is gearing towards sustainable progress in our desire to make Carmen one of the most progressive town in Bohol," she said.

A second class municipality, Carmen is the home of world-famous Chocolate Hills in Bohol.

The town mayor would also like to position Carmen as the country's leading eco-agriculture tourism destination with tourist spots soon to be launched.
