Overnight police operations in Rizal province net 22 individuals

The anti-criminality campaign of the police stations in Rizal province conducted on April 2 to 3 resulted in the arrest of 22 individuals.

The office of Rizal Police Provincial Office (PPO) director, Col. Felipe Maraggun, bared that out of the total number of arrested persons, nine were collared in the operations against illegal drugs.

Police seized from the suspects P15,692 worth of suspected illegal drugs, including marijuana.

Five persons were nabbed based on warrants of arrest issued by the courts.

The campaign against loose firearms also resulted in the arrest of one person and the confiscation of an unlicensed firearm.

A separate police operation against illegal drugs in San Mateo led to the arrest of two persons and the confiscation of the illegal drugs worth P290,400 on April 2.
