Gonzalez said the city government gives free pentavalent vaccines to infants to protect them from pertussis.
She said Mayor Imelda Aguilar wants all the infants in the city to receive the vaccine amid the rising cases of whooping cough.
The mayor is thankful that the city has not recorded any deaths due to pertussis among infants in the city.
