Gisele Bundchen is soaring high

MANILA, Philippines — Brazilian Supermodel Gisele Bundchen is the new face of not just one but three major campaigns for this Spring and Summer. She’ll be the star of the campaigns of Salvatorre Ferragamo, Givenchy and Versace. This is all on top of her current endorsements.
It’s just interesting to note that during the Spring Summer 2012 shows in Paris and Milan last year, Giselle’s face was all over the two fashion capitals. She graced the Esprit billboards which were all over such fashionable streets like Saint Honore and Montenapoleone.
Gisele is one of my favorite supermodels. I am just so glad that her power is shining through up to now!
Kiehl’s celebrates 160 Years
Kiehl’s recent vintage-themed 160th birthday bash was also an evening of philanthropic revelry. It was a time to pay homage to a brand that spans three generations and a chance for Kiehl’s to support the projects of UNICEF Philippines. Unveiled during the event was the redesigned packaging of one of Kiehl’s best-sellers: the Ultra Facial Cream, which features the artworks by Gary Valenciano and Bianca Gonzales—both friends of Kiehl’s and supporters of UNICEF’s advocacy. Gary Valenciano is a UNICEF Philippines Ambassador, while Bianca Gonzalez is UNICEF Philippines Special Advocate for Children.
“Kiehl’s global presence gives us a platform to make a difference on a larger scale; and for the Philippines in particular, we are very privileged to have the opportunity to collaborate with people who believe in a cause that is dear to our brand,” says Lenard Tiongson, Kiehl’s senior business development manager. “For this initiative, net proceeds of this limited edition line with artworks by Gary Valenciano and Bianca Gonzalez will go to UNICEF Philippines. Kiehl’s aims to raise PhP 100,000 in support of UNICEF’s programs for children.”
The new packaging, which will be officially available in stores this September, was made available to select guests.

Samsung’s new notebook
Samsung Electronics Philippines Corporation (SEPCO) recently announced the launch of its premium Series 7 CHRONOS notebook PC during a press conference at Time Bar in Makati City. Welcoming guests to the launch were SEPCO business unit director Eric Sulit, business adviser James Kwon, product managers Hannah Francisco and Beiai Torres, marcom manager Juno Limjap-Sison and Intel’s market development manager Wowie Wong.
Encased in a stunningly thin and compact aluminum chassis, the high-spec Series 7 CHRONOS with Intel’s Core i5 processor embraces the ExpressCache technology, providing an extra 8GB of flash memory on the motherboard. This enables a faster start-up as well as increased overall performance with up to two times faster web browsing (based on Microsoft Internet Explorer) and two seconds wake-up.
In addition to exceptional speed, the Series 7 CHRONOS also delivers maximum performance in its high quality display. Incorporating Samsung’s latest MAX screen technology, the Series 7 CHRONOS enables users to experience an extra inch of immersive viewing without sacrificing mobility or portability with the 15” display contained within the form factor traditionally associated with a 14” model.
