Susan Roces glad to be kapamilya again
MANILA, Philippines — Powerhouse drama “Walang Hanggan” airs pilot tonight on ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida featuring two “queens” of Philippine cinema, Ms. Susan Roces and Ms. Helen Gamboa.
Excited to return as a kapamilya, Susan said, “Nakakataba ng puso that I was given this project. I’m happy and honored to be working once again with ABS-CBN. Ako’y mahilig manood ng mga teleserye at tagahanga din ako ng mga bidang sinusubaybayan ko, kaya masayang-masaya ako na gawin ang seryeng ito.”
Looking forward to share scenes with Helen, she added, “Isipin n’yo, kinailangan pa naming maghintay ng ganito katagal bago kami magkasama sa isang show ni Helen,” Susan added.
“Walang Hanggan” also marks the return of the loveteam of Dawn Zulueta and Richard Gomez. Dawn said, “Sa ganda ng istorya, nahirapan akong tanggihan. Siguradong makaka-relate ang mga manonood sa iba’t-ibang love story ng mga characters ng show.”
Also playing major roles in “Walang Hanggan” are Coco Martin and Julia Montes who are working together for the very first time.
Completing the lineup are Rita Avila, Melissa Ricks, Joem Bascon and Paulo Avelino, with the special participation of Eddie Gutierrez and Joel Torre.
“Walang Hanggan” tackles the undying love that revolves around characters from three generations: The love triangle among Virginia (Susan Roces), Margaret (Helen Gamboa) and John (Eddie Gutierrez); the ill-fated lovers Marco (Richard Gomez) and Emily (Dawn Zulueta); and the young sweethearts Daniel (Coco Martin) and Katerina (Julia Montes).
Directed by Jerry Lopez Sineneng and Trina Dayrit, it airs from Monday to Friday after “Ikaw ay Pag-ibig” on Primetime Bida. For more updates, log on to www.abs-cbn.com or follow @abscbndotcom on Twitter.
