Imee said her brother had lost weight and this gave him an excuse to ‘’overeat.’’ ‘’Kaya todo-todo ang pinakbet and kung ano-ano pang pinapakain sa kanya,’’ she added. (That is why he is served a lot of pinakbet and other dishes.) In a Facebook video last April 16, Marcos said he possibly got infected by the disease when he and his wife went to Spain to attend a wedding. “I'm feeling better. I'm starting to recover. This was really something of an experience because I did not realize how bad this COVID was until I got it,” Marcos said. Imee said her brother is not leaving his residence so as not to infect others ‘’kasi infectious pa rin daw (because it is still infectious) after a certain period, so he is not moving. He is just very, very careful.’’ Bongbong Marcos served as a senator from 2010 to 2016. He is the second child and only son of the late President Ferdinand Marcos and former First Lady Imelda Marcos.
