NPA leader nabbed in Iloilo

By Tara Yap Iloilo City—An alleged high-ranking leader of the New People’s Army (NPA) was arrested in Iloilo City on Tuesday night. The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) of the Philippine National Police (PNP) arrested Salvador Hisuan before 7 p.m. along Iznart Street in the downtown area. Known as “Ka Pepe”, the 45-year-old was arrested by the CIDG for a murder case. Hisuan is said to be a platoon leader of the Central Panay front of the NPA.
