Gabby is going to be a dad again, said Sharon

MANILA, Philippines – It is a sad day for fans of Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion now that the planned reunion movie of their idols has been shelved indefinitely.

Cuneta herself made the announcement via a recent appearance on “Wil Time Bigtime,” Saturday.

"Hindi po matutuloy yung pelikula kasi manganganak ang misis niya," said Cuneta.

Concepcion is currently married to Genevieve "Ginbee" Yatco Gonzales. The yet to be born child is their second.

Willie Revillame, host of “Wil Time Bigtime” then cracked, "May misis pala si Gabby... Hindi ko alam. Tuwing nakikita ko siya, nag-iisa palagi."

 To which Cuneta knowingly retorted, "Oo, napakabait na babae."

Concepcion was married to Cuneta from 1984-1987. It was annulled due to “irreconcilable differences.” They had a daughter, Kristina Cassandra Concepcion, who is now also an actress.

Via text message to Revillame, Concepcion teased if Cuneta would be willing instead to do a concert with him.

“Dyusko! Hindi ko kayang makipag-back-to-back,” said she.

Concepcion then urged Cuneta to do a movie with him next year.

"Manganak muna yung misis mo. I-enjoy mo muna ang iyong pamilya. Saka na tayo mag-usap ng pelikula," Cuneta quipped.

The last time that the two appeared together in a movie was back in 1992, in Viva Films’ “Tayong Dalawa.”

Concepcion was then married to model-actress Jenny Syquia. They had a daughter, Cloie, but that marriage failed as well.

Cloie and her mother recently visited the country and signed a film contract with Viva Films.

Meanwhile, Concepcion's daughter with businesswoman Grace Ibuna, Gabrielle Marie or "Garie," has just released her first CD.

In 2004, Concepcion married long-time girlfriend Gonzalez in California. Their first child, daughter Samantha Alexis was born in 2008.

Cuneta is currently married to Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan. They have two daughters together and one adopted son.
