Pacmom speaks up on absence, showbiz comeback and wedding rumor

MANILA, Philippines – Dionisia “Pacmom” Pacquiao claimed that her four month-long absence from the limelight was caused by "spiritual illness."
“‘Yung sakit ko hindi naman nakakatakot. Wala, sakit na hindi pisikal. Kasi sakit na ispiritwal. May espesyalista na ispiritwal na gumamot sa ‘kin, taga-Cavite ‘yan,” Pacquiao explained in a live phone interview with Korina Sanchez on her radio show, “Rated Korina,” Friday morning.
A separate taped story aired on “TV Patrol” Thursday reported that the doctors found Pacmom in good shape although, as she put it, “’Yung paa ko, nag-laki eh. Pati tiyan ko, parang buntis ako ng… parang walong buwan na.”
“Takot nga ang mga kapitbahay ko mag-tingin sa ‘kin. Parang patay na tingnan nila ko eh. Takot na sila eh,” she added.
The Pacmom told Korina that her “albularyo,” a resident of Cavite, told her that the person who did this to her was motivated by envy.
“Sobrang inggit sila sa akin. May nainggit sa akin dito sa ‘min,” she said.
The Pacmom has already recovered from her illness, and according to her, “Hindi na sila makalapit sa ‘kin.”
“’Tuwang-tuwa talaga ang nag-gamot sa akin. Sabi niya, ‘Hahahaha, magaling ka na! Magbalik ka na sa showbiz,'” she said in the same “TV Patrol” report.
Speaking of show business, Pacmom is now ready for a comeback which includes the concert with her idol, Jukebox Queen Imelda Papin, set on April 14.
As for the person who caused her harm, Manny Pacquiao’s mother told “TV Patrol,” “Ang Panginoon ang bahala sa kanya. Ang taong sobra sa inggit, unti-unti mawala sila. Mag-lalo pa silang maghirap.”
Meanwhile, the Pacmom dismissed the allegation that she wanted to tie the knot with her masseur. She asserted that she doesn't even have a boyfriend.
“Wala naman akong binanggit niyan!” she told Korina, laughing.
