First Metro Investment Corporation, the investment banking arm of the Metrobank Group, has announced the appointment of Jose Patricio Dumlao as its new president and director. Jose Patricio Dumlao Dumlao is a highly experienced and successful investment and commercial banker. Prior to joining First Metro in January this year as executive vice president, he was the country manager of BNP Paribas Manila Offshore Branch. He also served as president and head of Fixed Income and Equity Sales of BNP Paribas Investment Philippines, Inc.; president and head of Investment Banking, Paribas Asia Equity Philippines, Inc.; chief operating officer and head of Equity Sales, Philippines Asia Equity Securities, Inc.; and head of Institutional Sales for the Philippines, Asia Equity UK Ltd. Earlier in his career, he worked as an investment banking officer at ANSCOR Capital and Investment Corporation and later on became head of Investment Banking at Corporate Investment Philippines, Inc. Dumlao holds a BS Management Engineering degree from the Ateneo de Manila University. First Metro chairman Francisco Sebastian said, “We are delighted to welcome Pat Dumlao at First Metro.
