Charice Proclaims She's Not Perfect, Willing To Lip-Synch If Necessary

MANILA, Philippines — Amid the negative stir Madonna created after her much-talked about Super Bowl XLVI halftime performance on Sunday, international singer Charice couldn’t help but empathize why the Queen of Pop lip-synched her number.
The 19-year-old “Pyramid” hit-maker spoke positively about lip-synching on Twitter.
“I sing. But I’m not perfect. I would totally lip sync if I would do some big events with millions of people watching. it’s not a crime or cheating. Sometimes it just makes you feel better. I would be realllllly nervous,” Charice posted on Feb. 6, months after taking a break from the social networking site.
Charice, who publicly admitted that she understands that her haters will never see any good in her, said that she’s “not the most perfect person out there.”
“I’m still nervous even if I just sit down and do interviews… Even if you have that confident (sic) you’re talking about, you could still mess something up,” she added in another post.
Addressing, in previous interviews, her haters, Charice said: “I bet some people would write something like, ‘Oh geez, Charice is lip syncing now!’ boo! Lol. What do you expect anyway.”
The young belter earlier said that critics as well as their negative feedbacks are “always gonna be there. You just do your thing and be noticed no matter what. Good or Bad.”
Although this year’s Super Bowl performance has been controversial, Charice was all praises for Madonna, who was joined in by LMFAO, Nicki Minaj, M.I.A. and Cee Lo Green.
The “Louder” singer gears for another international tour this March for her latest album “Infinity.” The concert tour will kick off in Dubai, March 2, followed by stops in Singapore, March 5; Jakarta, March 7; Philippines, March 9; Hong Kong, March 19; and Korea, March 21.
