Lovi Wins Raves In 'Legacy'

MANILA, Philippines — Lovi Poe is currently making waves as she gives another remarkable performance as Natasha Alcantara, a wealthy society heiress, in GMA’s “Legacy.”
Lovi’s unforgettable lines in the new show are being talked about. The award-winning actress is also getting endorsements left and right. She just recently released a new TVC for Red Horse Beer and just last week, closed a new endorsement as ambassador of Splash Corporation.
“I’m really happy to be part of the Splash family,” says Lovi, whose billboard for Bench Body along Guadalupe, Edsa has become a head-turner. She has also been chosen to be the Filipina Bench Body Endorser to model for Bench in China.
Lovi is slated to do two new films soon.
Catch “Legacy” on weeknights on GMA-7.
The Girl Who Captures P-Noy’s Heart
Our columnist Grace Lee is the newest woman who has captured the heart of President Noynoy Aquino. The time we interviewed Grace (at her launch as the newest endorser of Ever Billena), she evaded to answer if they were already officially “on,” saying only that they were still in that “getting to know each other better” stage.
But of course, the public knows better.
P-Noy was amused to see Grace getting so much attention (case in point was the recent 112th anniversary of this paper when the President noted with a smile that Grace was “pinagkakaguluhan”) but lately he has asked that Grace and her family be given the privacy they deserve as private citizens.
Grace told us then that her family doesn’t feel the tension of her getting so much attention these days. “They have their own world to live, and Mom handles the situation well…”
As to reports saying P-Noy is giving her police protection, Grace denied it: “There’s no immediate threat for me and my family, and the President knows and trust that I will know how to deal with the situation.”
Grace, who studied International Studies and Political Science at Ateneo de Manila University, will turn 30 this year (Oct. 4) but she looks much younger, what with her flawless complexion. She has been using Ever Billena even before she was signed to endorse.
Impressive Ratings For ‘My Beloved’
“My Beloved,” the much-awaited primetime series that marked the return of the team-up of Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, kicked off with very impressive ratings when it premiered last week.

The soap registered 42.7 share points versus ABS-CBN’s “Budoy’s” 27.4 points and “Walang Hanggan’s” 32 points during its pilot airing Feb. 13.
