P.N.P. Transformation
CAMP FLORENDO, La Union — Pangasinan 2nd District Rep. Leopoldo Bataoil is optimistic the PNP Patrol Plan 2030, “Peace And Order Agenda For Transformation and Upholding of the Rule of Law,” will bring change to the PNP.
Bataoil spoke during the closing ceremony of a three-day seminar workshop on “Performance Governance System” attended by Police Regional Office 6 Director, Senior Supt. Franklin Jesus Bucayu, and other PNP officials.
“Sa pamamagitan nitong seminar at program na PNP Patrol Plan 2030 ay makakakamit ang minimithi ng sambayanan na pagbabago in accordance with people’s expectation,” said Bataoil .
This will be help the PNP achieve its mission and vision and become a most respected institution and role model in the coming years. (Liezle Basa Inigo)
Athletes Commended
GUIGUINTO, Bulacan — “The people of Bulacan congratulates our athletes and their trainors for bringing honor to our beloved province.
I want to commend them for training very hard and excelling in the events they played.”
Thus said Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado in a meeting here Sunday with his Provincial Public Affairs Office chief, Maricel Santos-Cruz, as he hailed the Bulacan contingent at the Central Luzon Regional Athletic Association for reigning again as the overall champion of the regional meet held at Iba, Zambales.
The Bulacan contingent reigned supreme anew by topping both the elementary and secondary divisions to emerge overall titlist of the meet that ended Friday at the Zambales Sports Center. (Freddie C. Velez)
A.D.H.D. Awareness
SAN PABLO CITY, Laguna – SM City San Pablo and photographer John Chua, and photography clubs will hold a photography workshop for children with disabilities in March called “Photography With A Difference.”
The photographs of participants in the workshop will be exhibited in SM Malls as part of an initiative to promote awareness of Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) that afflicts some children. (Ferdinand F. Castro)

CALUMPIT, Bulacan — Governor Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado Sunday said he enjoyed becoming an instant field reporter for radio station DWSS last Saturday, giving a blow-by-blow account of the “Salubungan” reenactment as part of the celebration of the 26th anniversary of EDSA People Power 1.
Alvarado said that what transpired at EDSA 26 years ago was a blessing from God to the Filipino people.
He said that the peaceful revolution has already became a “trademark” of the Filipino people and has become a model for other countries wanting to be freed from oppression and tyranny. (Freddy C. Velez)
Villar Foundation
BAGUIO CITY — An attractive water lily float from Las Piñas City joined a parade of the Panagbenga Festival in Baguio City this Sunday morning.
The design of the water lily float was conceptualized by Villar Foundation highlighting the livelihood projects or aptly called green social enterprises of the foundation.
Former congresswoman Cynthia A. Villar, managing director of Villar Foundation, said water hyacinth weaving enterprises provide livelihood to 200 families in Las Piñas City. (Freddie G. Lazaro)
