The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) warned that hot and humid weather will continue to affect the country throughout the coming week, from April 12 to 19.
From April 12 to 18, the entire archipelago will have mostly sunny to partly cloudy weather, with warm and humid conditions.
However, PAGASA said because of the warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean, known as easterlies, there may be isolated afternoon rain showers or thunderstorms, mainly in the eastern part of the country during this period.
By April 19, the southeastern part of Mindanao may experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the trough or extension of a potential low pressure area outside the country’s area of responsibility.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country may continue to have mostly sunny to partly cloudy weather, with warm and humid conditions and isolated afternoon rain showers or thunderstorms.
