Matt Lozano sings through a broken heart in latest single 'Kwarto'

Kapuso singer Matt Lozano showcases his rich vocals via his brand-new self-penned single under GMA Music, “Kwarto,” a song that conveys the story of a person left by someone they truly loved.

“Nasulat ko ‘to nung 2020, nung mag-isa lang ako sa kwarto ko,” said Matt. “Nilagay ko ang sarili kong paa sa sapatos ng iba at nagsulat ako ng kanta tungkol sa taong iniwan. My fans and other listeners will be able to connect with this kasi halos karamihan naman ng mga tao ay dumadaan sa pagsubok pagdating sa relasyon and makaka-relate sila dito para bumangon muli sa darkness na kanilang nararanasan.”

Matt also shared that he wrote this song while battling COVID-19 in 2020, “Medyo depressed ako ‘nung time na ‘yun kaya sinulat ko na lang ang mga nararamdaman ko. Love story talaga ang kanta na ‘to about sa isang tao na pinipilit ang mahal niya kahit hindi naman siya mahal. Napaka-happy ko kasi kung ano ang tumatak sa utak ko nung sinusulat ko ito, ganun din ang pagka-arrange ng kanta and I’m very happy na ma-share ko ang music ko with everyone.”

“Kwarto” is arranged by Zac Yokingco, and produced by Paulo Agudelo under GMA Music.
