MANILA, Philippines — Today, March 5, GMA-7’s Afternoon Prime airs the first episode of “Hiram na Puso,” a heart-warming story of a loving mother who takes all risks to save her daughter from death.

Gina Alajar plays the mother to screen daughter portrayed by Kris Bernal, who makes “Hiram” her follow-up to the prime-timer “Time of My Life.”

Kris has always been a favored talent among kapuso artists because she gets along well with everyone. She’s always described as “mabait, never swell-headed.”

From an original concept and story by Suzette Doctolero and directed by Andoy Ranay, “Hiram na Puso” also stars Mark Herras, Polo Ravales, and Bela Padilla with Gardo Verzosa, Ayen Laurel, Candy Pangilinan, Ana Marin, Marc Acueza and Wynwyn Marquez with the special participation of Krystal Reyes, Ehra Madrigal and Stef Prescott.
