MANILA, Philippines — “Corazon (Ang Unang Aswang)” is a horror film offering of Skylight Films and Reality Entertainment starring Erich Gonzales and Derek Ramsay.

Erich said she was very excited about the project. “Nung sinabi sa akin yung story, nagulat ako. Kasi, ibang-iba. First time ko makagawa ng project na out of the box! Na hindi yung normal lang or usual na horror movie. I play Corazon, isang misteryosang babae.”

She added: “Kuwento ito ng dalawang taong sinubok yung pagmamahalan nila and na-test din yung faith nila, yung love, yung commitment nila sa isa’t-isa. Yung for better or worse, mamahalin nila ang isa’t-isa no matter what.”

On the other hand, Derek said: “Ever since I accepted the role, lagi ko ng sinasabi na this is my favorite project. Sobrang na-enjoy ko yung experience sa pag-shoot ng pelikulang ito. I look forward to shooting talaga. This is very different kasi 50-50 siya. Most horror stories puro straight horror hanggang back story. Ito, it’s a horror story pero ang ganda ng love story dito. It really shows what true love is all about.”

About Erich, he said, “She is one of the most talented young stars now. She can really act very, very well, very professional, very versatile.”

Written and directed by Richard Somes, “Corazon” has Erich and Derek as husband and wife whose love for each other was put to a test when tragedy strikes their firstborn.

The movie, set for March 14 release date, also stars Mark Gil, Techie Agbayani, Epi Quizon, Mon Confiado, Dan Alvaro, Sue Prado, Sharlene San Pedro, Bodgie Pascual and Ma. Isabel Lopez.

KC Pampers Self, Embraces Single Life

KC spent the eve of Valentine’s and Valentine’s Day at the Presidential Suite of the Mövenpick Resort and Spa while in Cebu for the auditions of “X-Factor,” ABS-CBN’s upcoming talent reality show.

While in Mövenpick, she was treated to a special wine-pairing dinner created by the resort’s resident Chef Jennie Lorenzo and Celebrity Chef Terry Styles.

Each course was perfectly matched with a glass of Manny O Wines.

KC was joined by her sister Chloe and Mike Lopez, Mövenpick’s Director of Communications.

KC later tweeted each course and each wine paired with it and raved about her experience.
