Gwen Makes It As Star In International Film

MANILA, Philippines — GMA-7 artist Gwen Zamora is the lead actress and the only Filipina in the cast of the international movie “The Witness,” which opens today in local theaters.
We first saw Gwen when she was chosen leading lady of Vic Sotto in the MMFF entry “Si Agimat at Si Enteng Kabisote.”
In “The Witness,” Gwen portrays the role of Angel Fordeliza Isagani, a general manager of a hotel in Manila who was transferred to a hotel in Jakarta. There, she is haunted by strange dreams about a young man, named Aris, who attempted suicide by firing his own gun into his mouth.
Who is Aris in Angel’s life? What does the bizarre dream wants to convey?
Directed by Muhammad Yusuf, “The Witness” is produced by Skylar Pictures and released through GMA Films.

Kris Finds A New Home
Sought-after endorser Kris Aquino recently found a new “home” with Filinvest as its brand ambassador.
Kris said: “I am excited to represent such a big name in the real estate industry. Their tagline – ‘We Build The Filipino Dream’ – says it all. With a history of close to 50 years in property development, it is still going strong with more than 120,000 homes built nationwide. If I can only equal them in longevity, bigness and commitment, then I feel I have already accomplished a lot. What I like about Filinvest is that they build homes not for a selected few but homes for a wide range of Filipino families all over the country…”
Kris signed up recently with Josephine Gotianun-Yap, director and president/CEO of Filinvest Development Corp., and Joseph M. Yap, president/CEO of Filinvest Land, Inc.
