Construction works on an access road leading to a famous falls in Sison, Pangasinan is now over 60 percent completed and is expected to be finished by November this year, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) announced.

The improvement of the 2.6-kilometer Labayug-Inmalog Road, an access road that leads to the Antong Falls in Barangay Labayug in the Municipality of Sison, Pangasinan, is now more than 60 percent complete, Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar said.
According to DPWH Region 1 Director Ronnel Tan, the improvement works on the road involve the concreting of the 2.6-kilometer rough road from Barangay Labayug to Barangay Inmalog in the town of Sison.
The secretary furthered that the construction of the Labayug-Inmalog Road is being fast-tracked for completion by November this year to promote the emerging tourist destination.
“We want to complete this road improvement project immediately to improve access for the residents and attract more tourists to visit the nature reserve,” he said.
A total of P96.5 million was allocated to fund the road project which is being implemented by DPWH Pangasinan Third District Engineering Office.
