The President stopped by at the hospital after a sleepless flight from Russia.
Veronica shared on Instagram a short video of her father and some companions inside the hospital room with the caption "with daddy shark." The online video, originally posted by Instagram user @n00bumi, also showed Veronica apparently on intravenous therapy to combat her illness.
Senator Christopher Go earlier confirmed that the President's daughter has been diagnosed with dengue. He claimed that Veronica’s illness caused Duterte to lose some sleep on his flight from Russia back to the country last Sunday.
The President’s daughter is among the thousands of students who were vaccinated with the controversial anti-dengue vaccine Dengvaxia.
Former government officials have been slapped with complaints amid concerns over the bungled implementation of the vaccine, which may have allegedly put inoculated children at risk of even contracting severe dengue.
