P47-million Super Lotto jackpot bagged by lone bettor

By Jel Santos The P47-million jackpot of Super Lotto 6/49 was won by a lone bettor during Sunday night's draw.

(JANSEN ROMERO / MANILA BULLETIN FILE PHOTO) Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said the winning combination was 40-19-18-28- 20-01. The total jackpot won by the lucky Super Lotto bettor was P47,165, 440. Because of the TRAIN Law, 20 percent tax will be automatically deducted from the jackpot. The government will therefore get a total of P9, 433, 088. There here were 104 consolation prize winners who came really close to bagging the P47-million jackpot. They will get P7, 430 each. Only last Saturday night, the whopping P244.9-million jackpot of Ultra Lotto was bagged by a lone bettor from Manila. To claim the jackpot, the bettor must go to PCSO's main office in Madaluyong City, and present two IDs and the winning ticket so he/she could get a cheque. Lotto draws are aired live at 9 p.m. on PTV 4. Lotto 6/42 draw is every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday; Super Lotto 6/49 draw is every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday; Mega Lotto 6/45 is every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; Grand Lotto 6/55 draw is every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday; and Ultra Lotto 6/58 draw is every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday.
