Road clearing to be strictly implemented in Tuguegarao

Soriano urged Barangay Chairpersons, the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation, and presidents of tricycle operators and drivers associations (TODA) to cooperate in the strict compliance of road clearing operations by the Department of the Interior and Local Governance (DILG) through the Memorandum Circular No. 2020-027. Significant results must be achieved within 75 calendar days, he said. During the meeting, he emphasized that the barangays should be actively involved in the road clearing operations . Soriano also invited doctors from Cagayan Valley Medical Center, Tuguegarao City People's General Hospital, and City Health Office to help inform Tuguegaraoeños on how to prevent transmission of flu and other diseases. Earlier, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) gave local government units (LGUs) at least 75 days to finish the second round of road clearing operations in their respective localities.
